Join us in association with Singleton whisky for an unforgettable Burns Night celebration on Sunday 25th January, marking the birth of Scotland’s iconic poet, Robert Burns.

Experience a true taste of Scottish tradition in North Yorkshire, with an evening full of pipes, poetry, and delicious puddings. 

Dress in your finest tartan and get ready for a few lively ceilidh dances as part of our annual festivities. The night will feature a traditional haggis address, classic Burns Night songs, and plenty of fun and celebration for everyone.

The dress code for this event is tartan and kilts, or black tie.

YOUR TICKET WILL INCLUDE:

  • 18:30 – Singleton whisky cocktail on arrival
  • 19:00 – Welcome speech by The Jacobites Ceilidh Band
  • 19:15 – First course served
  • 19:45 – The chef presents the haggis on a platter, followed by the traditional Address to the Haggis by the host, and a dram of whisky is served
  • 20:15 – Main course served, followed by an address to the Lasses and a reply to the Laddies
  • 21:00 – Dessert served, with a second dram of whisky is poured to raise a toast to Robert Burns
  • 21:30 – Ceilidh dancing continues until the end of the evening

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All events are adult only unless otherwise specified. Adults are classified as aged 18 and above.
  • Full-prepayment is required at time of booking.
  • Grantley Hall reserves the right to cancel or amend any events up to 14 days prior to arrival if minimum numbers are not reached making the event unviable – at which point a full refund will be offered. Cancellations received from clients after payment has been made will be allowed up to 14 days prior to the event and will be subject to a £20 per ticket administration fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the event will be charged at full face value of the purchase price.
  • Tickets can only be transferred to other guests with the approval of the hotel.
  • All dietary requirements, where applicable, must be advised a minimum of 14 days prior to the event.
  • The maximum number of tickets which can be purchased by an individual will vary depending on the specific event and the capacity offered.
  • Clients will receive full details of each event the week prior to the event in addition to the automated confirmation received at time of booking.
  • Any complaints must be sent in writing to hello@grantleyhall.co.uk and will be dealt with in a professional and confidential matter. We will acknowledge all complaints within 3 working days and respond in full within 7 working days.
  • As a condition of sale, the ticket holder consents to being filmed and photographed for future promotional material to be used by Grantley Hall. If you wish to be excluded, please make us aware by emailing: hello@grantleyhall.co.uk
