Saturday 21st March 2026

On Saturday 21st March 2026, Grantley Hall is honoured to host once again ‘A Night Under the Stars’, Yorkshire Children’s Charity’s glittering black tie gala banquet. Now in its third year, this is one of Yorkshire’s most sought-after evenings, a harmonious blend of five-star hospitality, entertainment and philanthropy.

From the first pop of Champagne to the final burst of fireworks, ‘A Night Under the Stars’ is more than an event; it is an experience. Here, opulence and purpose meet in perfect harmony, where guests enjoy a world-class evening whilst knowing that their presence and generosity will bring light, warmth and opportunity to Yorkshire’s most vulnerable children.

Impact of the 2024 Event

In 2024, ‘A Night Under the Stars’ raised an astounding £1 million, empowering Yorkshire Children’s Charity to deliver vital support throughout 2024 - 2025. The Winter Support Campaign provided children with essential items such as coats, shoes, bedding, and pyjamas. These simple necessities offered comfort, warmth, and dignity. As a result of the shoes and coats provided, 80% of the supported schools reported an increase in student attendance.

Beyond meeting urgent needs, funds brought moments of magic: festive gifts and unforgettable days out that gave the children of Yorkshire the joy and wonder every childhood should hold. Schools across Yorkshire have already felt the impact of your generosity. This is proof that one night of giving can ripple into years of positive change.

About Yorkshire Children’s Charity

Why your support matters

Childhood poverty in Yorkshire has reached a twenty-year high, with the region among the most affected in the country. Thousands of children are growing up without the basics many take for granted - warm clothing, comfortable bedding, or shoes that fit. Without intervention, the outlook is bleak.

Yorkshire Children’s Charity is determined to change this. Your support will provide essentials to keep children warm and ready to learn, joyful school trips that broaden horizons, and festive experiences that restore childhood wonder. Together, we can rewrite futures, replacing hardship with hope and creating brighter tomorrows for Yorkshire’s most vulnerable.
