Thimbleby Simulated Game Experience

Experience an immersive day at the stunning Thimbleby Shooting Ground on Tuesday 20th May. This exclusive simulated game shooting event is complemented by exceptional dining and warm camaraderie, all set amidst the breathtaking Yorkshire landscape.
Limited to just 10 guns, this intimate gathering guarantees a truly bespoke experience. With a range of grouse, pheasant and partridge targets, the event caters to both seasoned shooters and newcomers alike, offering an adventure to remember.
COST PER GUN: £650, which includes cartridges, refreshments throughout the day, pre-dinner drinks and dinner.
NON-SHOOTERS: For those who wish to attend without participating in the shoot, the cost is £150, covering pre-dinner drinks and dinner.
Please note that this guest activity is limited to only 10 guns, ensuring an intimate and exceptional experience for all participants. If you are using your own gun, you will be asked to provide your shotgun certificate and share whether you will be shooting 12B or 20B. If you require to hire a gun, there will be a charge of £60.00 for the day.

Your ticket will include:
- 08:00 - Breakfast served at Grantley Hall
- 09:00 - Guests will be chauffeured in Land Rovers and Range Rovers to the Thimbleby Shooting Ground
- 10:00 - Guests will be greeted with an introduction to our hosts for the day, led by Philip Thompson. After the guests have drawn their peg numbers, they will be transported to the first drive
- 10:30 - Drives one and two will commence, with refreshments being served throughout the day
- 11:00 - Savour a delightful break in the Bothy before drives three and four begin
- 15:00 - The shoot will conclude with a drink on the moor and an opportunity to chat with Philip Thompson, our head coach. Philip will be delighted to provide any feedback or insights you may seek
- 16:00 - Following the conclusion of the day's activities, guests will be chauffeured back to Grantley Hall
- Later in the evening, pre-dinner drinks will be served in the Norton Bar, leading to a private dinner in the Brook Room at approximately 20:00
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- All events are adult only unless otherwise specified. Adults are classified as aged 18 and above.
- Full-prepayment is required at time of booking.
- Grantley Hall reserves the right to cancel or amend any events up to 14 days prior to arrival if minimum numbers are not reached making the event unviable – at which point a full refund will be offered.
- Cancellations received from clients after payment has been made will be allowed up to 14 days prior to the event and will be subject to a £20 per ticket administration fee. Cancellations within 14 days of the event will be charged at full face value of the purchase price.
- Tickets can only be transferred to other guests with the approval of the hotel.
- All dietary requirements, where applicable, must be advised a minimum of 14 days prior to the event.
- The maximum number of tickets which can be purchased by an individual will vary depending on the specific event and the capacity offered.
- Clients will receive full details of each event the week prior to the event in addition to the automated confirmation received at time of booking.
- Any complaints must be sent in writing to hello@grantleyhall.co.uk and will be dealt with in a professional and confidential matter. We will acknowledge all complaints within 3 working days and respond in full within 7 working days.
- As a condition of sale, the ticket holder consents to being filmed and photographed for future promotional material to be used by Grantley Hall. If you wish to be excluded, please make us aware by emailing: hello@grantleyhall.co.uk
