The Orchard

Summer Dining

The Orchard offers a relaxing outside-to-inside atmosphere where you can easily go from day to night. Sit and enjoy a leisurely lunch basking in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside or enjoy sunset drinks such as cocktails and Champagne on the terrace in the evening that overlooks our West Lawn.

The Orchard's spring and summer menu compliments the change of the seasons by offering light and refreshing options, such as an array of succulent seafood dishes, with everything from king prawns and Whitby lobster to chargrilled swordfish – all cooked to perfection by our talented chefs.

If seafood isn’t for you, there are plenty of other options to whet your appetite, including fresh and crisp dishes such as a shaved fennel dish or broad bean, garden pea, mint and Yorkshire feta salad. Alternatively enjoy premium-cuts of dry aged steak cooked exactly to your preference – if you're attending The Orchard with friends, we recommend upgrading to the surf and turf sharing platter for an enhanced social dining experience.
Please note, we accommodate all reasonable dietary requests, however any of our dishes may contain allergens. If you have any serious allergies or intolerances, please inform our team at time of booking. If you have a particular lifestyle choice, our dishes are marked accordingly so please choose from the available menu.
